LARGE IMPRESSIVE & RARE OVAL DESIGN SILVER, BRASS & BRONZE CHAMPIONS CHOICE COWBOY RODEO CHAMPION’S TROPHY BELT BUCKLE– This buckle has such great looks that we wonder why more makers do not feature similar oval designs. It was awarded at a western American District 6 Warm Up Show. It looks like it was won by a 2009 Jr. Timed Horseman for a barrel racing event. We don’t know any other details about where the show was or which rodeo it was associated with.. but it sure is an eye catching large and heavy American cowboy trophy buckle!! The condition is very good, showing just minor tarnish and signs of use. The color combinations, shine, and the naturally aged finish make this buckle POP!! It measures a LARGE 5 1/8″ x 3 3/8″, fits belts up to 1 1/2 wide and weighs about 6-7 ounces. PS.. when this buckle is on a belt, it looks even better than our photos show.. Because the tiny bits of tarnish are barely visible. Also, a light cleaning & polishing can make this one look like new again!
