551 Swiss 24J Vintage Watch. This watch is running well and is keeping great time. When time tested it did lose around 20 seconds over a 24 hour period. About the watch & condition. Here we have a nice Omega Constellation with the reference 14381-61SC. It’s got an automatic Cal. 551 movement which looks stunning and is running well. It’s a good looking watch and is ready to be worn! The dial on this watch does have some patina as shown but I actually do quite like it. It was a champagne colour but parts have bronzed slightly giving it some age, looks good! There’s some minor general wear as well as this but nothing major at all. The hands also have some wear especially the seconds hand which looks a little rusted as shown. The watch dates to 1960. The watch has an Omega branded crystal which is in great shape, it has a couple of light scratches but nothing major, it would polish up lovely. The stainless steel case itself has some general wear mainly just light scratches but this is common of any pre owned vintage watch as you’d expect. It has the Constellation observatory caseback as well which I love with the golden centre! The crown works completely fine just as you’d expect and has the Omega logo on which is always nice! The shorter dog leg lugs look beautiful & suit the case perfect, these are super sought after! The watch is sat on a nice black Condor leather strap which will fit a wrist sized up to 7 3/4 inches or smaller. The strap itself has next to no use whatsoever and is in great condition as shown. The only issue is that the buckle is golden so this may want swapping to silver. This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. This is for the watch only there’s no box or paperwork.
